Successful telecoms partnership spanning a decade
Whether resurfacing a section of highway, maintaining safety at an airport or creating award-winning signage, a Ringway/Eurovia site office can spring up in multiple locations. The nature of the company’s day to day business means that their teams could be working on a project at a remote site where there is little or no existing telecommunications infrastructure in place. Therefore the Group needs a telecoms provider that can deliver to their exacting needs with the minimum of fuss.
Over the last ten years, PSU Technology Group (PSU) has offered a consistent and reliable service to Ringway/Eurovia and its joint ventures, from installing new lines to maintaining and upgrading their telephone system equipment. Today, PSU supports around 60 Ringway/Eurovia sites across the UK; supplying, installing and maintaining their entire telecoms infrastructure including lines and calls, as well as providing a combination of Next Generation Network (NGN) and ADSL broadband connections.
Annual cost savings worth £100,000
Most recently, PSU has helped Ringway/Eurovia to achieve cost savings of approximately £100,000 per year through unified billing, rationalising their lines and calls and reviewing tariffs.
As Paul Williams, Group ICT Systems Manager for Ringway/Eurovia, explained, the organisation had been using a number of different providers across its network, often experiencing frustrating delays and incurring extra costs.
“We were unhappy with the service we were receiving from our provider at the time, so were looking to rationalise our services and cancel lines we didn’t need.”
“We’ve been nothing but delighted with the service we’ve received over the years. We just send an email and PSU handles the rest.”
Through constant account management, Ringway/Eurovia also benefits from quarterly profiles and monthly reports, allowing the organisation to analyse their calls and lines spend in detail and receive one monthly consolidated bill for all of their services.
"PSU’s service simply allows us to get on with what we’re doing."
